Suminagashi, the ancient Japanese art of ink marbling, involves creating beautiful, swirling patterns on water that are then transferred to paper. Participants interact directly with water and ink, providing a rich sensory experience stimulating touch and sigh watching the ink swirl and form patterns is both relaxing and fascinating, making it a perfect activity for sensory engagement.

Reverse colouring zine workshop
Welcome to our Reverse Coloring Workshops, where creativity knows no bounds! Hello! I'm Issy, and I have a deep passion for art and the unique emotions it allows us to express. My mission is to make art accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities, and to create inclusive and inspiring workshops.
My workshops are designed to accommodate various needs and abilities, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy the creative process. I have extensive experience working with both adults and children, including those with learning disabilities. This experience has fueled my dedication to making art accessible to all. This is why I incorporate sensory elements into all my workshops to enhance the creative experience. This includes using materials that stimulate touch, sight, and even sound, creating a rich, immersive environment. These sensory elements are not just for those with sensory needs; they add an extra layer of engagement and enjoyment for everyone involved.
I strive to make every workshop a place where participants feel valued and supported. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their creativity.

SEND Family workshop
Working alongside BeatFeet, I’ve had the joy of leading puppet-making workshops for SEND families and carers—spaces filled with imagination, laughter, and movement.
Each session is a beautiful collaboration, where hands craft creatures and characters, and then bring them to life through dance and play. Watching participants—both children and adults—connect with their creations and each other is nothing short of magical.
Being part of this creative journey has been a true privilege. The puppets were as unique and vibrant as the people who made them, and every workshop left me feeling deeply inspired.
